Stacey and I met in 1998 while he was stationed at Travis Air Force Base and I at McClellan Air Force Base. We owe our unlikely meeting all to our good friend Kristian "Clay". Stacey was roommates with Clay and he introduced us while I was in town visiting, so our story began. Unfortunately, the Air Force had other plans; Stacey went off to Italy and I to Japan. We managed to keep in contact over the years; celebrating each others milestones, accomplishments, and developing a lifelong friendship. Friends first. In 2014 our paths crossed again. Stacey invited me up to DC to catch up and site see in the city. A few weeks later, I touched down in DC to hang out with an old friend and see the sites of DC, or so I thought. God had other plans; the connection was still there...we fell in love. We are fortunate that God has allowed us to find the partner we needed and deserved in life. We are stronger together. God has continued to bless us abundantly.
